Zoll Cellars Winery, located in scenic Shrewsbury Massachusetts, is dedicated to growing and producing wines locally, and to supporting small New England family farms.
All of Zoll Cellars wines are hand crafted in small batches, about 100 cases or less, to preserve quality and to create unique wines that reflect the quality of each vintage year.
I select local family farms, from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York, which are passionate about their fruit and wines. I also do this to educate you about local wines and to let you taste what is growing around you in New England.
What To Do at Zoll Cellars
Harvest Crush Courses
Frank Zoll, Pastry Chef and Vintner offers hands on group and private winemaking classes. Great for team building events, corporate parties, and anyone who wants to see first-hand how their wine is made. These Courses will walk you through the winemaking process in the spring and fall when fresh grapes are harvested. Courses will educate you in the art and science of wine and you will experience wine, hands on, as you crush, press, and balance the grapes to prepare them for fermentation.
Private Wine Making
Private wine making is a 1 on 1 experience at Zoll Cellars Winery. Groups of up to 6 or 12 work side by side with Frank Zoll to customize wine that suits their palate. Choose your yeast, grapes, type of barrel, and determine the length of aging. The process starts with a Palate Consultation to help you identify your wine style. Then we can help you produce a wine that best pleases your tastes. This service includes harvest events at: crushing, pressing, barreling, and bottlling date. Each event will include food and wine prepared by Frank Zoll, Pastry Chef and Vintner, with selections of local New England wines and cheeses.
In the end, you will receive 120 or 240 bottles of hand crafted 2012 privately labeled vintage wine produced by you, for you, to enjoy with friends and family for years to come.
Visit our store for more information on this exclusive experience.
